Please read the following precautions before using Online Banking:
1.At all time keep the Online Banking Account Number and the certificate and password of USB-Key confidential; do not disclose or share, and shall procure the Authorized Administrators and Operators (in case of account other than individual, joint or sole-proprietorship accounts) not to disclose or share them to any person including any joint account holder under any circumstances; in particular, not to send them through electronic mail; and never assign the same password for accessing other Services (for example, for connection to the internet or accessing other websites).
2.Do not disclose the Online Banking Account Number and the password of USB-Key to anyone in any circumstances who claims to represent Agricultural Bank of China Limited Hong Kong Branch ("ABCHK") or holds out as ABCHK's employee or authorized person (it is not necessary for ABCHK's employee to know the E-Banking Account Number and the password of USB-Key).
3.Notify ABCHK immediately of any actual or possible unauthorized use of Online Banking Account Number and the password of USB-Key and shall confirm the same in writing without delay to ABCHK.
4.Logout the service and clear the browser cache after a banking session, delete the rough documents and unplug the USB-Key for safe custody.
5.Never leave the computer unattended while using Online Banking.
6.Avoid accessing your bank account with public computer.
7.Take caution of hackers and virus infection when sending and receiving emails, visiting and disclosing personal/financial information to unknown websites and downloading files or programs from websites.
8.Install proper firewall and anti-virus software and update them with security patches or newer versions on a regular basis to strengthen the security of the computers. You should make sure all updates on Windows and internet browser be done as soon as possible and deactivate all sharing and remote desktop connection function to prevent any invasion from spyware to your computer.
9.Upgrade browsers and application software to support SSL 128-bits encryption or a higher encryption standard; and not select the option on browsers for storing or retaining user name and the password of USB-Key.
10.Remove file and printer sharing in computers, especially when you have internet access through cable modem, broadband connection, wireless or similar setups.
11.Change the password of USB-Key immediately by selecting a new password on the first usage and destroy those documents printed with the password subsequently.
12.Use passwords that are unique and not easy to guess, do not use your identity card number, telephone number, date of birth, QQ number, driving license number, mobile phone number, account number or popular number sequences (such as 123456) when choosing the password of USB-Key; and not use the same digit more than twice.
13.Do not write the password of USB-Key down, and shall memorize the same.
14.Be alert to the surroundings before inputting the password and performing any banking transactions, and make sure that no one sees the password of USB-Key.
15.For security reason, change the password of USB-Key regularly. Use different passwords for different websites, services or accounts.
16.ABCHK's official website is: www.hk.abchina.com. Please login our website directly from this link to prevent entering into phishing or false website. Check the authenticity of ABCHK website by comparing the URL and the Bank's name in its USB-Key and a security icon that looks like a lock or key appear when authentication and encryption is expected. It is highly recommended to bookmark ABCHK's website.
17.Notify ABCHK of any change of your information (including without limitation to your mobile phone number, contact number, email address and correspondence address) as soon as such change occurs and ABCHK shall not in any event be held liable for any loss or damage suffered resulting from or in connection with your failure to do so.
18.Do not use the USB-Key after it has been cancelled or revoked or has otherwise become invalid.
19.Change your password immediately if you suspect that you have been deceived by a fraudulent website or email. For example, if you fail to log in to a service website after imputing your correct password, with or without any alert messages.
20.Do not use software or programme(s) from untrustworthy sources.
21.Do not click URLs or hyperlinks embedded in any email, search engine, or any untrusted source to access ABCHK website.
22.Every time you log in to Online Banking, please verify your last login date, time and name.
23.Access E-Banking with browsers recommended by ABCHK.
24.Check your bank balance and transaction history regularly. Notify ABCHK immediately if you discover any errors or unauthorized transactions.
25.Regular review and follow security tips issued by ABCHK.
26.Contact ABCHK for confirmation immediately whenever a website claiming to originate from ABCHK looks suspicious to you.
27.Keep your USB-Key, bank statements, cheque books, other important documents and any security media/devices for accessing E-Banking in a safe place. If you want to discard any documents that contain your personal information, destroy them first.
28.Under no circumstances shall ABCHK, by way of email, telephone or any other channels, ask or display your personal information or display your personal information or password in email. In addition, ABCHK will not ask you to access ABCHK website by clicking hyperlinks attached to any email.
29.Check the website's privacy policy statement and statement on security safeguards before providing personal data to the website.
30.Do not fall for money-laundering scams. Be wary of any "business opportunity" that involves receiving or holding money for strangers.
31.Report any unusual / unauthorized transactions in your statement immediately. Any errors or discrepancies should be reported to ABCHK within 90 days. ABCHK reserve the right to regard the statement as conclusive should you fail to report any unusual / unauthorized transactions within the specified period.
32.Ensure maximum security when transferring money online. Always keep the electronic receipt for fund transfer and bill payment transactions.

34.ABCHK may invalidate your USB-Key and Password without prior notice to you.
35.To protect your account from unauthorized access and being misappropriated, please contact us immediately if your HKID card and /or bank cards and / or USB-Key are lost or stolen, at (852) 2819 5599.
